Author and songwriter Gabriel Hart lives in Morongo Valley in California’s High Desert. He was the man behind L.A. noirpunk band The Starvations, and presently he is leader of L.A. based punk Wall of Sound group Jail Weddings, who will release their third album Blood Moon Blue in 2019. Their previous album Meltdown: A Declaration of Unpopular Emotion (2013) was voted Best Album of The Year by L.A. Weekly, followed by Band of The Year in 2014.

Virgins In Reverse & The Intrusion is his debut novel (Traveling Shoes Press). His chapbooks Cinema of Life (2016) and Nothing To See Here (2017) will be incorporated into his upcoming speculative fiction novel Lies of Heaven, to be released in 2019. He is also presently immersed in High Prey Drive, his teenage initiation novel project.

His short stories and poetry have been published in Cholla Needles, the Desert Writers Guild Anthology, Luna Arcana as well as Space Cowboy’s Simultaneous Times anthology and podcast. He is also a regular contributor to L.A. Record, a Los Angeles underground music publication.
